| Yay for My Space and Facebook. lol I am now officially addicted to internet blogs. . AHHH! Anyways, the back is doing EXCELLENT everyone. I'm walking normally and I can feel my legs just like before. Monday I have to go to Columbia and get my stitches taken out (OUCH!) After that I get to go get my prom dress and my digital camera! I'm excited! I honestly believe I couldn't have gotten through this as quickly as I have without the support of my friends and family. You guys are awesome and I love you so much!
Ok, now the bad part. I am so far behind on school stuff it is not even funny. Seriously, I don't even know how I am going to get ahead, which bugs the heck out of me. I'm so used to being ahead because I am such a non-procrastinator (i dunno if thats a word?) Argh! I just wanna pull my hair out and scream! It's not like that will help anything, but it just seems like the more I get done, the more there is to do! HELP PLEASE! Seriously, anyone that has class with me should just tell the teacher "hey we shouldn't do anything because jess already has enough to do." I will love you forever! lol Well ya don't have to do that. .sorry I'm just blabbing now. It's time for me to go to bed. OH! 9 DAYS TIL MY BDAY!
Love you all oh so much--

| Hey Hey-
Well, the operation was very successful, at least that is what my doctor said. I was only in the hospital for one full day, which is awesome because I absolutely hated it. IVs are a killer! What is even worse is that I can't sit down hardly at all. It's either laying down or standing up. So yeah, I shouldn't be at school until the second week of April. AH!
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has been supporting me through this whole ordeal. All of your thoughts and prayers have really helped me and I really appretiate it!
One last note before I go off to bed. . .13 days til my birthday! WOO!

| Hey there everyone-
Well, the 27th is the big day. Yes, thats when I go under the knife. They're going to shave back some of the L5 disc that is bulging and some of the bone that is around it. Then, they're going to try to move the other two discs back into place. It should be about a two hour long operation. After the operation, its 6 weeks of recovery. That means almost NO sitting at all for 6 weeks, strictly laying down or standing up. I was hoping that I would be better by my birthday, March 17, but it looks like 6 weeks after my operation is in the first week of April! Yeah, April. So that means a lame 17th birthday for me. Oh well, as long as I am getting better, I don't really mind.
I don't wanna sound like a nerd or anything, but I miss school. No, I don't miss the work, I just miss seeing everyone. Anytime ya'll wanna come visit, let me know, or just a simple phone call would be enough. I just really miss everyone! But yeah, I'm getting tired, so I think I'm going to get some sleep. Hopefully I'll see some of you all soon! Byes!

| Hey there-
Well, I went to the orthopedic doctor on Monday. He looked at my MRI and said that he wanted to do a mylogram. A mylogram is when they give me a shot in my spine with dye so that the dye will go into my nerves and then they x-ray and see which nerves are being pinched by the discs in my back. The doctor also said that I have 3 dics out of place instead of 2 and that they are deteriorating. Yeah, I got all sorts of good news on Monday. Also, I have to be off work and school for 4 weeks. So yeah, I'm really scared for tomorrow. Please pray for me. It'll really help me get through this. Thanks everyone for all the support, I really appretiate it. I'll keep ya'll updated. Bye bye!

| Hey everyone-
I hate to report that my back has taken a turn for the worse. I seriously think it was because of all the dancing I was doing this weekend at Courtwarming. lol Remind me at Prom not to dance so much, k guys?
So Monday I couldn't move, so I went to another chirpractor from before, and he basically said he coulnd't help me. He recamended that I get an eppidural (spelling?). Yeah, like when you're going into labor. (NO, I am not expecting.) Then he put this lotion on me called Sombra. Yeah, weird Buffalo Bill similarities. (Its puts the lotion on its skin. NO!) Surprisingly, the lotion felt good, so my mama baught some and she puts it on my back and leg everynight to help take the pain away.
Last night, I just couldn't take it anymore. So my mom drove me to the ER in Columbia at 3:00 AM. There, I met the best ER doctor ever. He actually cared. He got me MRI, X-rays, and all the other notes from other doctors that I've seen. He personally gave me a shot for the pain and some more meds for the pain. He even tried to get a special doctor that I'm supposed to see tomorrow to come down and examine me, but the doctor was in surgury, so he couldn't. He told me he couldn't really do anything to stop the problem, but he could minimize the pain. He apologized for this and actually sat there and rubbed my back for me while he explained some things to my mom to help me at home. Normally this would upset me because its what every other doctor has done, but just because he actually cared, I felt so much better after leaving.
So my mama and I came home and my poor dad was at home, pacing the floor because he was so worried about me. He went through the same thing when he was in his mid 20s, so he knows all about the pain I'm in. Dontcha love inheriting the family genes?
So I finally got a good look at my own MRI. I'm not a doctor, but it basically looks like I don't have an L4 and L5 disc. I just hope this doctor that I go to tomorrow will give me some answers and a solution to my problem. Please!
"Sing to the Lord, all the world! Worship the Lord with joy; come before him with happy songs! Acknowledge that the Lord is God. He made us, and we belong to him; we are his people, we are his flock. Enter the temple gates with thanksgiving; go into its courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise him. The Lord is good; his love is eternal and his faithfulness lasts forever." Psalm 100.7
I've been reading my bible a lot lately, and that scripture just really stuck to me. Fatih has really kept me going lately, along with my family and friends. Thanks everyone who has been praying for me and keeping in touch with me. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you guys!
